STOP COMPARING APPLES TO TOMATOES.

Each product has a specific customer base and an expected user rate.

Think of it this way: If I have a store that sells, tomatoes, bread, butter, and silverware (knives); am I going to sell the same volume (quantity or dollars) of each item. I DON'T THINK SO!!!

Will the items which cost more be bought as often as the lesser. (i.e. Over a 3 month period - one quarter, will I sell as many knives, used to spread butter, as I will sell pounds of butter, or bushels of tomatoes, or loaves of bread?) I DON'T THINK SO!!!

If I'm that far off base, perhaps I should stop thinking.
