on a dividend call though, doesnt the institution that lent your shares out have to get them back for cusip purposes and demonstrate possesion before a dividend can be awarded? i think i may have misunderstood you on that. thats basically what i meant by short of going to nasdaq there is nothing to prevent mm's from covering, whether they do or not is a different issue, but it is not very tough to cover in the bb world. people need to realize also that the short game continues on naz and doesnt stop just because the stock is there. that is why i tell people except in isolated situations, reporting a problem to sec is basically useless. let me ask you this, if an mm is short and getting squeezed, on naz or otherwise, how often do mm's come to the rescue and help out, and secondly do mm's want to be put in a position where they "owe ya one" to the other mm. i have cousins on the floor in chicago and they say that it is very cut throat, and there will be a couple mm's that band together, but it gets heated between different houses as well.

in the ktel situation there were death threats, muggings and all kinds of threats behind the scenes.
