Joe, I agree. I don't think ASND will be stand-alone next year. Also, this DWDM announcement might easily be explained away in that Williams simply chose Pirelli as its DWDM vendor, and therefore ASND didn't really have much choice in who they collaborated with. We might expect to see more of these ATM/DWDM interoperability announcements in the future. It seems to me, that its in the interest of both equipment parties to interoperate with as many as possible. Maybe a "standard" is in order. Gary
