That is very possible about the effects of r-12...but as we know that is history... I have become used to the really unbelievably bad handling of the epa and auto industry with the different aspects of the state of auto ac today... If you go to aircondition.com you will see acres of unhappy people on all sides of every issue... It is a huge non sensical mess... and even if you accept the epa's role then you look at how the industry has treated the better qualified alternative refrigerants and if it wasn't so rediculous it would be laughable...
