Ann, The republicans can't take voters from the democrats on those issues because the democrats will stay right where they are. They like government and will stay with a pro-government party. There are not enough voters in the "swing" middle (it's only 20%) to make a difference if the 1/3rd who are evangelical christians leave the republican party. The harsh reality is the republicans cannot survive without the christian vote but they have sold us out. We will slowly leave the party until it is permanently crippled. The Democrats will rule from on high and transform america into your dream. A bankrupt anti-christian country. Bob
