One who speaks from experience....shorting in this market is for those who can't sleep at night anyway or can endure pain of the highest order.

This market has bounced back time and time again in an environment of low inflation and low interest rates. The corrections are hard and fast with no telling how long they will last. Look at the cycles. Everytime the market falls back it rallies within months. It did so in early '96, it did so in July '97. It's doing it again in '98. Just when you think it's going to fall out of bed to 7000 on the Dow...boom a ferocious rally.

Short artists and Market timers are also losing their shirts.

Despite all this we still find babble about shorting. Good luck. My advise is don't tread on this ground unless you can stand the heat. The risk reward ratio is against you.

Regards,

gw
