Hello Gramps: How are ya doin? It appears that these companies are not dead in the water YET!!! With the gold market being sooooooo manipulated (IMHO) and alot of Junior Companies cancelling financing, etc. there is no reason for these companies to display stellor performances. But alas , money seems to be always forthcoming in the worst of times. Go Figure. They must have something going for themselves. The lastest news release below for those speculators who still have the heart and will to play this somewhat fickle and heart wrenching game: Good Dayyyyyyyy Ronald

PS: IMHO, these are the times when one must take the bull by horn; Go against the crowd and postion one's self at these riduculous low prices. Not only the companies mentioned but a mulitude of Juniors ripe for the picking...

Mr. Jon Bergvinson reports
Omni Resources and its 50/50 joint venture partner, Trumpeter Yukon Gold
have commenced the 1998 exploration and development program at the Mt.
Skukum gold/silver properties. The first phase of the 1998 program - with a
$570,000 budget - will include diamond drilling, geophysics, sampling and
mapping.
One of the focuses of this year's program will be the exploration of two
epithermal events that have been capped by sinter or alunite. Both systems
have been mapped and geochem soil sampled, however, they are yet to be
drilled. The sinter cap is 1 kilometre north of the Becker Cochrane
antimony vein that was underground developed during the 1960s. The alunite
cap is near Mt. Skukum, 11km west of the sinter cap and is less than 1km
south of the Total-Energold mine that was in production during the late
1980s.
In addition, follow-up work will continue on numerous high grade veins and
shear zones that were discovered last fall and are associated with the
known Skukum Creek gold/silver deposits. A drilling contract has been set
and a diamond drill is being mobilized to Mt. Skukum. The program will be a
continuation of an agenda to increase reserves and move toward an ultimate
goal of production.
