Paul, it's kind of funny but your remarks were kind of bugging me today: I would have thought that buying one really good CPU would have saved you quite a bit of money instead of buying 8 or 10 inferior, but cheap, ones. Oh well - unwitting people and their money are soon parted. Finally late this afternoon I realized why, and found it amusing. These were virtually the same words I used in 1983 when I was selling DEC mini-computers and I was trying to convince my father to buy a mini-computer for his business, but he was set on buying a bunch of PCs instead. No doubt about it, one big CPU is a better buy than a bunch of PCs. <VBG> Seriously, big CPU's do have their place, but so do cheap CPU's. How much would you recommend spending for a POS terminal? How about for an accounting workstation? Good luck, Carl
