Here's an interesting report on 3D: jpa.com "By the end of 1998 JPA estimates over 77 million PCs will be 3D hardware enabled, or approximately 84 percent of all PCs. These hardware-enabled PCs will make up 98.9 percent of the total PC market by the year 2003. In 1998 JPA estimates there will be 18 million 3D users, growing to some 79.3 million users in 5 years."
