Iqbal,
It has been a long while since I posted on this thread.
I agree that it is unfortunate that both countries showed their
sporting rivalry mentality in bomb explosions and other other
machoistic toys buildup. As you pointed out we have a long way to
go. But at that same time it is not a bad idea to keep the world
aware of what we mean is real.
As for the subcontinent is concerned they are matured enough not
to risk their lives and economic build up. As a proof both nations agreed to meet (yesterday'news) to talk. I think politicians on both sides know that damn well it is going to be a mutual destruction
and hence no point in exaggerating the tension beyond verbal fracas and field hockey and cricket fields.
Under Gujral the relation started improving a lot but BJP has its own
goal of expanding their voter base with help of a few explosions.

Recently US imposed sanctions on exporting computers beyond a 2 MIPS
or something like that to government agencies and private companies that are involved in government contracts. I think it is a joke.
At least in India they
have been exporting super computers to other countries (based on
multiprocessor configurations made of standard microprocessor and home grown Unix variant OS). It doesn't make any sense as even some of the leading PC manufacturers manufacture mother boards in India.

Enough of this distraction.

Coming back to market. I think COMS has turned the table and is on its
way to a better earnings than it used to be. I listened to their CC yesterday and it looks things are promising. But today's market reaction will show whether they approve right now or they will
wait for another quarter.

My Y2K holding IMRS started moving up.
