Paul, Wow you can't find the date HAHAHA. I'm not being sarcastic. I was going to go out and buy the paper but I'm too cheap to buy a paper that give obsolete Mutual funds reports. I found an old IBD dated April 4,1995. It has what you say, a list of six mutual funds, It shows one of my favorite Gaebelli asset funds. If you look where it saids 10 largest investment in bold letters the next line below showed a date in my old paper, said (as of 6/30/94) nice touch with the words ^as of^ that means the information they give you now is 10 months old. That is my reasons the paper showing that data is worhless. Why won't they show it as of march 30, 1995, or even Dec, 30 1994. Why so far back, I would not buy that paper anymore if I was refering to what the mutual funds have been doing for investment advice. Maybe the paper does not show the date any longer, since my paper is a year and a half old. Let me know if you find the date now, and how far back the information is from the paper date. I posted six to nine months back. P.S. Yes Grim, I remember what AMAT did the day before and after the earnings and I agree with you that Mu will do the same. I also notice that memory retail prices are still going down also, in my area anyway. They are giving 8 meg of memory away free if you buy a sound blaster or 12 times c.d. rom. J.T. IN R.I. |
