Hi Tom,

If you get a chance could you please provide some background information as to how you decide which stocks are used in determining the NYSEBP and why DWA uses broad industry groups rather than the narrower industry groups such as those used by IBD.

I am interested in learning how the NYSEBP and sector BP's are arrived at in order to see how similar indicators could be developed for use within my home market of Australia. As the Australian stock market represents less than 2% of the worlds capital markets I am not sure that the market is large enough to have meaningful sector bullish percent indicators.
