EIGRP is a double edge sword for CISCO. It is CISCO proprietary and more and more shops are adopting OSPF as a open standard policy. The most prominent routed protocols today are IP and IPX. Corebuilder 9000 covers both. COMS is in excellent market share position in NIC's, Modems, Hubs, RAS, and Layer 2 switches. Core switching is where CISCO, ASEND, and 3COM collide. What is 3COM's strategy to fight CISCO and ASND in Core Switching?
