Lerxst,
I am sure that you will agree that a companies greatest asset is in its people or intellectual property.
Mr House should be doing everything possible, especially now, to ensure that he doesn't loose valuable
people. Let me relate a funny story to you then. By the way my brother worked at Bay for 4 years, and left there almost 4 months ago, so he asked me to post this for him, because he doesn't want to hurt any of the contacts he still has there. Last week 5 or 6 engineers along with their manager, all in the SQA group (software quality assurance) left the federal street (Bay East) campus to go to the same start up. Basically this is an entire team, or department, walking out at once. Well Mr. House
got so upset with them that he canceled their shares. Now these same engineers have gotten a lawyer and are suing the company. This is bad enough, but word of this is spreading like wildfire. Great way to keep up
the morale Mr. House and a really great way to keep good talent around.
Advice to any Bay people thinking about leaving, sell your shares before you go, and good luck...
Sounds to me like Bay is starting to adopt the old CS mentality of beating employees....
