CORP. / San Fernando Mining Company Ltd. Changes Name To KeyWest Energy Corp

NAME CHANGE - SAN FERNANDO TO KEYWEST

CALGARY, June 24 /CNW/ - The former San Fernando Mining Company Ltd.,
having received final regulatory approval, announces its name change to
KeyWest Energy Corporation. The Company, which trades on the Vancouver Stock
Exchange under the symbol SNF, will begin trading under its new symbol KWE on
Thursday, June 25th. The Company also has a Toronto Stock Exchange listing
which is currently suspended pending acquisition of a property.

In other developments, the Company's application to list on the Alberta
Stock Exchange has been approved. KeyWest Energy Corporation will commence
trading on Alberta, Friday, June 26th under the symbol KWE.

The Company was formerly a mining concern whose focus is being redirected
into the oil and gas business in Western Canada. The new principals of
KeyWest, being Harold V. Pedersen, President, Mary C. Blue, Executive
Vice-President and Garry L. West, Vice-President of Engineering & Production,
are the former co-founders of Jordan Petroleum Ltd. which was sold in December
1997 for a total value of $435 million. KeyWest has 16.8 million issued
shares and its sole asset is cash of $10 million. Management is currently
looking for merger, acquisition and drilling opportunities in order to build a
new oil and gas company.
