I agree. The timing of writing the calls is key. The best time to do it is at peaks in volatility where a stock is going into a trading range at a top. There's a good liklihood of not getting called out in that instance, or if you do, it won't be by much and you can simply buy back in for the same strike price or close to it--or better yet lower than the strike price on a dip.
