John,

I'm confused over your comment that they can push the stock price down with aggressive shorting, and I have heard that same comment from other sources.

If my understanding is correct - one can only buy a short on an up-tick. So if there is alot of new shorts buying, it would add to the already increased volume; therefore any new short trades won't hurt the stock directly. What will hurt the stock is how the market interprets any large increase in the shorts - if the market feels that the increase in shorts is an indicator that FENWAY will drop in price, then such may stimulate selling.

With all this good news coming out, the SHORTERS are the ones to worry, not those who are long. The only thing that FENWAY has to do is consistently and efficiently disseminate the good news. What is really critical is for the market to understand what the new fundamentals will be - then the market will determine what is a good price to hold the stock until production actually starts.

Sorry for being wordy,

Seeya
