Chris, Thanks for posting that news about the private placement.
To put it in perspective, look back at my posting #92

On Oct. 2, 1996, Comverse announced a similar private placement
for $100 million at 5.75 per cent.

That one didn't hurt the company (in the long run),
and this new one for $250 million at only 4.50 %
seems like an even better deal -- at first glance.

I guess it depends on how they use the money.
