If you read closely t the Business Wire release (this is only part of the whole news release) below this may shed some light on what I am going to speculate on here. Business Wire - April 29, 1998 12:13 "Michael Sheppard, President and C.O.O. of Financial Intranet said: "While Financial Intranet will offer a wide range of Financial Information and proprietary content over its Intranets and Internet Sites. The acquisition of International Data Broadcasting Inc (IDB). will enable us for the first time to go beyond the Internet in providing up to the second information directly to the public by utilizing the 'next generation' of multi-cast wireless Email. Since Financial Intranet's clients are manufacturers and distributors of Financial Products and Information, they will now have the ability to instantly reach their end users at any time and place. Obviously, this carries enormous implications to advertise unlimited information or mass-motivate large franchise networks and sales organizations. The acquisition of IDB with all of their potential should add substantial value to our shareholders. " The full news release can be found here, just click. go2net.newsalert.com Peaceful in my opinion I do not believe the pager is intended to be a primary source of business for FNTN. Rather it will be an added service for their corporate clients and customers. That is to say that their clients will have this service as part of their contracts. I also believe that they will allow IDB to continue to offer the service to the general public for a monthly service fee as they are now doing. If I am correct in what I have said here, then the primary focus will be in obtain the large corporate clients, customers and other entities by signing them to longer term contracts. This will be the impetus that will fuel the big dollars we are all looking for. Remember this is only my opinion. Anyone else out there agree with this analogy or have some other one?
