Moonray is correct - there are numerous strategic relationships between COMS and IBM, including modems, campus switching equipment, remote access systems at IBM.net, and Pilots/WorkPads. As he also stated, I don't see them as a leading suitor based on Lou Gerstner's comments regarding the company's near term objectives. However, I would by no means rule them out as a potential acquirer.

I still lean towards Siemens, or possibly Lucent. We should also consider Motorola as a possible.
