OAKMONT, Pa., June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Users of the Microsoft Windows 98 operating system can have access to free, online knowledge-based technical support through a special Knowledge-Pak from ServiceWare Inc. Free access to ServiceWare's new Knowledge-Pak for Windows 98 will be offered on ServiceWare's Web site (www.serviceware.com) throughout July 1998. This special Knowledge-Pak makes it easy for Windows 98 users to find answers and solutions without having to call Microsoft or their corporate help desk.
By logging onto www.serviceware.com during July, Windows 98 users in the home and corporate environments can use the ServiceWare product for free. This special Knowledge-Pak provides easy access to answers and solutions related to a wide array of Windows 98 issues, including: installation and setup; interface with desktop components; implementing Internet connections; device and accessories usage; remote communications; functional management; and software interoperability.
In addition to being accessible for free on ServiceWare's Web site throughout July, the Knowledge-Pak for Windows 98 will be provided in products offered by ServiceWare's partners in both the retail space and corporate environment. In retail outlets, the Knowledge-Pak for Windows 98 will be included in self-support products such as First Aid(R) software from CyberMedia and REALHELP products from Quarterdeck Corporation.
