Orimulsion's success would let Venezuela unlock the energy potential of its vast bitumen reserves. ==================================================================== My interpretation is that Venezuela can produce Orimulsion so cheap that it is literally giving it away. In fact, they are trying to get Florida to burn it, and are even willing to PAY FOR the extra air pollution control equipment that would need to be installed. As Venezuela tries to find uses for Orimulsion, one option that is apparently already being done is for it to be pumped through a Texaco gasifier. Hence, Texaco has a vast source of dirt cheap fuel which can be gasified.
