I think that CT boards are destined to be as ubiquitous as ethernet cards. TAPI3 will provide a common API for both traditional and IP based telephony. Having lost the "proprietary API" premium, both DLGC and NMSS will have to compete on a much leveler playing field with upstarts. There will be strong downward pressure on the price of CT boards, as they will become more commodity items.

Of course, as with the rest of the industry, the strong companies have done quite well with smaller margins on huge volumes. I expect the market for CT to increase tremendously as prices drop. DLGC should be OK as long as they can handle the transition.
