Mike - On the latter half of your message - Why would Ma Bell toss in $48 B to get wired pipes? I think you could do most of the things they are talking about with wireless but it may be that you couldn't do the whole bundle as effectively. They are talking voice, internet, two way interaction on Cable choices, videoconferencing with your phone calls. Whille Q's WLL would do some, even with CDMAOne 3G you probably couldn't do it all as well. It seems like they are sure what the killer app is yet, they just have to throw it all against the wall and see what sticks. They are hoping the software and killer applications will emerge once the "wired pipes" are in place. Doing each one incrementally with wireless might not let the killer app surface. Just a thought.
