I bought 19000 today...most times when big orders go thru between the bid/ask and the price is not affected, it's a cross trade... mm to mm. Or it could be a mm buying/selling inventory.

I was in a stock once that averages only about 10,000 volume per day....one day there was a 50,000 order that went thru....the price didn't move.....I called a broker and the company CFO and talked to them, and this is how it was explained to me. Could be shortcovering by MM...which is a good sign.

Rico discussed shortcovering today on the INFE thread where 115,000 shares today in block trades went thru at the bid in 2 hours and didn't drop the price.

FWIW...
