For 2-3 days the volume has been extremely high (relative basis) and the stock has dropped considerably. The interesting thing (if I can even use that term) is that for this volume of sellers, there is a similar volume of buyers that are picking it up at this price.... holding it from dropping any lower. Obviously the buyers are not as strong in their feelings as the sellers, but non-the-less, they are there and in volume.
So what does this mean to me personally? Well, since I wasn't paying close attention in the first place, I basically deserve to get one of those hard earned and expensive lessons. Now how should I recover from this error.
I'm going to wait a little while longer because I've not seen anything yet that say the fundamentals have changed significantly. So it may still be an OK issue, just no longer in favor with the big money. With this decision, I'll see if it establishes a base around this level. If it does, then I'll begin to sell covered calls to recoup my losses. It will be a slow grind, but its only a portion of my portfolio so I can handle the slow comeback at this level (at least I think I can.... patience, man, patience). If it drops further, then another plan will have to be considered (like "wake up" stupid the boat sank).
Sotty if my thoughts just ramble out loud.... it's good therapy when I'm frustrated with myself.
