Chris -
I see you've now ignored the contradictions in the Bible we were originally discussing and shifted to attacking Islam. That's fine. No different than what most here are doing. But it demonstrates to me that you cannot find the answers.
Is it true that Muhammad was involved in raiding caravans for his own personal gain?
No it is not true. A nice lie fabricated by Emile against Islam. But since it is against Islam, most will want to believe it. Notice Emile did not provide any justification. Simply asserted it and moved on.
Is it true that Muhammad said, "Allah had no son"? (doesn't mention no daughters)
Muslims believe God said God had no son. Remember, Muhammad (Pbuh) did not speak of himself, but whatsoever he heard, that he spoke.
It is true the Qur'an says that God had no sons. That Jesus came from God's spirit but was not God's literal son. (I notice you change "God" to its Arabic translation of "Allah" in hopes to plant seeds in some people's mind that "Allah" is not "God." Again, I've seen these type of tactics before.)
Is it true that Muhammad didn't believe Jesus died on the cross?
Yes, this is true as well. What I am seeing is people now shifting away from proof and what the original discussion was about and now focusing on finding what they believe to be flaws in the religion. This provides the framework for people to convince themselves the religion is of man made origin without investigating further. Without hearing the Proof the Qur'an provides of its divine origin.
Like you, they do not want to discuss the Bible, when they see they cannot adequately explain it. But if I were to try and focus on taking each step one by one, I would be accused of not answering everyone's questions.
Is it true that Muslims face towards Mecca when they pray believing that it's a holy thing to do?
The Holy Thing to do? Where'd this come from?
Muslims pray to God all facing the same way. The only significance it has is it unites Muslims all around to world. All Muslims praying to One God at the same time facing the same direction.
Jews in the time of the 7th century, faced Jerusalem when praying to God. It acts to unite all people around the world practicing the same religion worshiping the One and Only God.
Is it true that Muslims are led to believe that Muhammad was even greater than Jesus?
This is false. Muslims believe all Messengers of God were equal.
Is it true that if a Muslim dies while fighting his enemies for the cause of Allah that he will go to a paradise where babes will be dropping grapes in his mouth?
If A Muslim dies for the sake of God, then it is believed he/she will enter Paradise. This does not imply fighting as most here would want to attribute it. Nor does it imply suicide which Muslims believe is a guarantee to enter Hell.
I suppose it would be too much to ask to have this conversation be two sided where we both discuss issues and points with proof instead of me always having to correct and defend Islam when someone else tries to insult it.
May the Peace and Blessings of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Be Upon You
