Re:"Del is a competent CEO." How do you define a competent CEO? To me he/she is one who is able to turn a company around - Del had done that. Increase WS confidence and hence better return to shareholders - Del has failed in that regard. Del has overpaid for Visigenic and that is clear from WS reaction. He underestimated the reaction of WS on the name change. Maybe an overreaction that brought the share price from over $11 to close to $7. Nonetheless a negative effect - maybe short term but still a negative effect. In two years, for long term holders, zero to negative return on investment does not speak well of the CEO. No insider buying not even by the CEO. However, some insiders have sold recently over $2.5 million of shares - not a vote confidence in the CEO.

From www.msn.com
"The following is a summary view of a corporate insider's SEC Form 144 filings indicating an intention to sell. Click on the filer's name to see a detailed list of all planned sales by this insider for the last 12 months.
For a list of completed transactions, see the Transactions tab.

Latest Filing Name Quantity 12 Mo. Totalÿ
05/15/98WPG VENTURE ASSOC II FUND LP175, 611 $2 Milÿ
05/15/98WPG VENTURE ASSOC II OVERSEAS FUND 76,970 $659,778ÿ
05/15/98WPG ENTERPRISE FUND LP242, 986 $2 Mil "

VENTURE ASSOC are listed as Trustee.

However, I hold shares in BORL and have traded in and out over the last two years because I could see a pattern. Anytime the share price goes above $10 the CEO has an announcement to make with a negative impact on share price. I started initially with 10,000 shares I am now down to 1000 shares. I converted most of my investment to stable companies. Although I hold a few speculative stocks which I wish I never bought. These represent 5-7% of my portfolio.
