GOOD NEWS!!!..First Call raises 1997 estimate by $0.25! First call raised their 1997 estimate from $2.50 to $2.75. The company continues to see good sales. growth and margins! I think earnings will beat the forecast. I talked to the company last month to try to get a better feel for their product line and sales. They continue to be agressive in getting into the higher end of the PLD market while gaining share in the low end PLD which the goal of growing this low end line at not less than 10% per year and maintaining 30% or higher margins. They continue to sell product to the tellecommunication companies and switch manufactures. This segment continues to grow inspite the lower Book to Bill numbers due to PC sales slump. Continue to hold...I still see $50 by September 1996. EKS
