converting trading records to quicken format

I would sure like a good explanation on how to do that(convert excel to quicken) so it could be imported. It would be nice for MB to make a clean interface to do a download of trade information that a non-programmer could follow. I'm going to call them tomorrow and request this, I hope others do too! I want to spend less time on maintaining my system and data, and more on actual trading and research.

i have been with mbtrading only for two months and have not yet done anything more than collect all the records in an ever growing spreadsheet.

quicken help is very good about laying out the format of it's import file. each line begins with a field specific letter followed by the content of the field.

i've been intending to write a simple perl program that will convert the spreadsheet into a quicken import file. i'll post a link when it's done.
