irby or all - Is pre-holiday usually opportune buy time?

I understand it is a proven fact that US stocks offer a better than average buy slot, 1 - 2 days before a major holiday. As before July 4 in US, July 3 would be first choice & July 2 also good choice. I wouldn't suggest this as a sure thing but perhaps it can improve your possibilities.

In Canada, perhaps June 30 & 29 would be looked at.
