Here we go Donny (and all else who choose to jump in the wagon) We are headed down to the tabernacle to hear the Reader, read the whole congregation the letter that Paul sent. It is so good to hear from him again. It has been so long. Seems like a long time ago when he came through Lystra. Why Donny, I remember when Paul healed a crippled man.Who could forget that especially since the crippled man had been so since birth!! Wow, praise God!! It is all so clear...One minute we are wanting to worship Paul and offer sacrifices and..and then the next thing you know some Jews came fom Antioch stirring up the people and Paul is being STONED!!! I am glad we gathered around and helped Paul when we did, and I can not believe he came back into town. Man what faith, what faith.....
Here we are, I see the Reader is already to start the letter so lets find a place where we can hear good. I am glad the Reader will stop at any moment when we want to discuss an issue, aren't you?
Reader: Brothers and sisters of Lystra. We have received a letter written to the Churches in Galatia. I will read the letter stopping periodically.:
(Gal 1:1-5 KJV)
Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
"Donny? Hey pssst: Donny! Paul told some that he was not too eloquent with his words, but sounds pretty good to me. Do you remember what brethren might be with him at this time?" "And that letter already looks like it has been around Galatia pretty good huh?"
