shotgun/mac/pc networking cont. If you are just networking one PC and one MAC, you don't even have to buy a hub. If you want more computers in your network, you'll need the hub. The shotgun modem will be hooked up in the com port of the PC. A $9 cable will hook the PC and Mac's ethernet cards together. The internet connection will come into the PC, Nevod 1000 will allow internet access to your Mac superior to a proxy server, as well as having a simple 5 minute initial set-up. This is my understanding from the diagram and readings of Nevod Nat 1000. S.W.
