I think it would have been more appropriate to ask the same type of question about FBN Associates (NAZDAQ: FBNA), don't you? Well, maybe not. After all, everybody knows FBNA is a spoof. I get a kick out of the emails we get that applaud the concept and the humor.
I'm sure, though, that Furniture Brands will be pleased to hear the results of the survey.
I suppose some astute poster will say that the confusion in symbols proves the point. And, they'll be right. If people invest in the wrong stock because the symbol sounds similar, then the entire point of FBNA will have been validated. Be careful out there!
So, I guess this thread is quite valuable, after all.
By the way, I've never looked at FBN's chart before. Quite impressive. Perhaps I'll invest.
Did you know that stocks with 4 character ID's trade on the NASDAQ, and the 2 and 3 character ID's trade on the NYSE or AMEX?
Oh, and FBNA trades on the NAZDAQ.
