Speaking of "F" words ... I'm wondering if maybe we should vote on the words that should be used to characterize the company this thread is devoted to.

Now, if the thread originator truly meant to ask his/her question about Furniture Brands (NYSE: FBN), I can't help because I'm not familiar with the company.

However, if perchance the thread originator made a slight error in titling this thread and in reality meant "FBN Associates", then I would like to add the word "fictitious" to "fantasy or fraud". I think that "fictitious" more closely captures the true spirit of FBN Associates.

Fraud? Ha! No way.

Fantasy? Maybe, but I get vibes of Walt Disney cartoons.

Fictitious? Yeah. That's it. In fact, my good buddy "Merriam-Webster" defines fictitious as "implies fabrication and suggests artificiality or contrivance more than deliberate falsification or deception". Yep. That pretty well captures our creative spirit. We fabricate the dickens out of our posts. Pretty clever ideas, some of them.

But, if FBN Associates (FBNA) does stuff with fabric (thus the term, "fabricate"), I wonder if Furniture Brands (FBN) will be trying to acquire FBNA?

Regards,
