In the words of Mark Twain, "Recent reports of the demise of Corel Computer, the NetWinder and Linux development were greatly exaggerated." The company is alive and well. Please read the FACTS about Corel's recent announcement to consolidate the operations of Corel Computer.

Corel Computer is Alive and Well!
It is business as usual for Corel Computer Corp. The company is open for business and prepared to begin delivery of its first NetWinder computers.
As part of our move towards more efficient operations Corel Computer is returning as a division of Corel. This makes sense from a financial perspective and from a development perspective. It's economically efficient given that we believe products flowing from Corel Computer will be revenue generators in the mid to long-term as the market develops. We'll be removing costly duplication in administration, procurement etc.
