FACTS JUST THE FACTS I attended a meeting last week at ATC American Technology Corporation Elwood gave a demonstration on his product, he said it would replace speakers in the world of sound as we know it today. He said his idea came from the television remote control device, used to change the TV channels. Elwood said that the TV remote control unit has something in it like a little microphone, and the TV has a receiver in it to change the channels and that he found a way to emit sound wave with it. What he said is that his device is not a speaker, but a sound emitter that will send the sound through the air and bounce of the wall or ceiling an give you the feeling that you are being surrounded buy the sound. Also that this sound can be directed so that a single person between his unit and the wall would get the feeling that the sound is being directed to them only. Elwood said that these little emitter are call transducer and that he bought everyone in the country. I think he said they cost 20 cent each thats $0.20. The unit that he used in the demo had 19 transducers attached to 19 small concaved devices. As I was leaving the building I spoke to an employee there, I ask how many people worked there I was told that 8 people where employed there. By the way I ask him how his unit worked outside and he said it doesn't work very well unless you have a back stop or a wall of some sort to bounce the sound off. In My Opinion There are maybe 30 million speakers out there in the world , and you can not replace the speakers unless you replace unit that sent the signal to the speaker. mite as well buy a new radio or unit. No big sales on repair work, or refurbishing old units If it doesn't work outside very well can't take it to the Beach Only 8 people in the company ???????????????????????? I saw Elwood , his VP in charge, his Chief Engineer, and a lady that worked there that means the company has 4 indian chiefs and 4 indians. This is a one product company that I know of ???????? For my money I would like to invest in a company that #1 Has been around for awhile #2 Has more than one product line #3 Has a history of making money As I said this is my opinion and I will be looking elsewhere to invest Good Luck to all Wishing all of you the best of good buys =======JIM
