Anybody else surprised at how moderate Asyst's pre-warning was? They see revenue this quarter in the $32-35 MM range, and a little lower the next quarter (vs. @ $37 MM last quarter).

Well, I hope it takes a hefty hit today. I'm ready to buy. I believe that the recovery will become widely predictable in 6 months and we'll see profits over today's prices, assuming ASYT drops to the $11 level. I was contemplating buying in at $12-14.

My current strategy is to wait for these announcements for individual stocks and buy on the news. It is hard to believe that analysts and funds don't anticipate, with certainty, decreased revenues by 20 to 30% in the next couple of quarters. I'm still scratching my head over KLIC falling on its warning.
