EGRP Fair Value = $13?

I was surprised to see in July's Worth magazine, (p. 26), the opinion that E*Trade is not only OVER valued, but expected to suffer slower volume growth and cost cutting, due to rapid increasing competitive pressures from the increasing list of internet stock brokers.

How many internet stock brokers are there now? There has to be more than 12. I can't keep track anymore...

OTOH, when it comes to internet stocks, there is no such thing as "fair value."

Only time will tell.

Incidentally, last month I requested E*Trade to transfer my Fidelity brokerage account to E*Trade. A Ms. Renee Smitherman responded in a letter dated May 28th that said they couldn't do it since "E*Trade does not have a dealer agreement with Fidelity Funds."

In order to transfer, I had to first liquidate the account.

What, are you kidding? I'm now in the process of transferring my Fidelity brokerage account to Schwab. Oh well, I tried...
