Going through some of my doc's from the past month I found this, ~~~ Can't remember if it was posted. I tried to find the story on Techweb, it came from Archive of Schaff's Columns title "Book-to-Bill Comes Through (11/18/96)" techweb.com US Robotics (USRX): Company has announced a first generation ADSL product expected to be delivered in 1Q97 with Total Control ADSL Modules shipping in 2H97. This follows on the heels of their 56 KBPS modem announcements. Though the financials deteriorated last quarter to alarming levels, this company continues to produce excellent products ahead of the ompetition. It looks like they will be using AmatiIs technology for ADSL via Texas Instruments. By the way,I believe Amati will be a player in ADSL and will eventually surpass Westell.
