They are also the primarily building block of the human conscience. They are software built into each of us unless perhaps we are actually a spawn of satan with only half-normal dna.
So, I feel that obsessing over whatever the tribes of Isreal felt necessary to maintain order and hygiene and stave off disease and wanton angry murders everywhere, as in all other floating societies, is still clearly incorporated into the 10 commandments. The health laws we mostly all know obey, and have gone beyond that. The rest was the ritual of the wandering tribes of Moses, totally pointless today unless you're into ancient ritual, and no more inspiring to me than the hypnotic dance around the eucharist done in the catholic and Episcopal churches still.
Basically the Jewish law is a code of behavior upon which most other human codes of law have been formed. But they are not part of my salvation or any one else's, and totally take us away from the point of Jesus. The 10 commandments are part of the design of Conscience, however.
And that's the danger of having too much of a doctrine in any area--that doctrine clouds the fellowship in the joy of being saved with others. Now, that I know to be fact, and that I know I've stayed far, far from thus far and plan to continue to do so, although others can do whatever they want.
What I'm positive of is this, and I will stand before God and not worry about the statement. I don't need to even know about the OT to be saved. Or ever read a word of it. But I need the NT to stay saved, and it is the only operating manual given to me, and the rest is interesting history of what God the Father did to prove He was real before Christ was born, but on nothing of the OT except the 10 commandments can I actually base my walk with God as I have it today. And I can also say that probably I am purely a product of John, more than anything, and I believe that all anyone needs if locked in a dungeon is John 10-17.
So, if Galatians is used only to bring people back to OT judiasm in anyway, then it is being totally distorted, and that is probably what DCF feels. But DLL is also totally free UNDER the blood to still be a practicing OT rabbi, if he indeed loves Jesus Christ as Son and Messiah. I believe that such a life would be mundane ritual traded off for the glorious rush of the freedom in Christ miracle realm, however.
DCF still has something in his mind that is not clear between the way that he and DLL feel. Why they can't just put is aside, I don't know.
Perhaps the Lord wants them to sort it all out. But of course not to where sorting leads to such a multitude of words no one can even logically analyze them anymore and we are back into an askgod fiasco. With Emile jumping in, and that would destroy the entire idea in the first place.
That's all I'm saying. I'm sick to death of arguing using Jesus as a reason to do it and most certainly with satanic swine, especially.
If they can't come here, neither should the arguments that brought them in the first place out of hiding from the Light.
