I agree with the potential. My belief (or should that be "be-leaf") is that HVAR has a chance of making a great cigar. If the smokers out there can rank this as a truly fine cigar, HVAR stock should rise. There are a number of small companies out in the cigar business, and quite a few small BB companies are out as well. I place more hope in the production end of the company than for the stores. Just as we are seeing with bagel companies, I predict that we will see buyouts of these small cigar companies. One of the problems with expanding cigar stores into malls, is that the employees you get cannot be the standard 17 year old, pimple-faced, high school mall worker. Plus, anyone that smokes $7 cigars is not going to work in a cigar store. What you truly need is someone who smokes cigars and has tried a lot of them. Many cigar stores simply cannot expand beyond the one store owned and operated by the cigar loving owner. I am not surprised that the store opening is being delayed. When it does open, hopefully the employees will be at least as knowledgeable as most of the customers.
