I don't exactly when Voodoo2 chips shipped. Reviewing the press releases: - Voodoo2 was announced on 11/3/97. BTW, Diamond announced their V2 board the same day. - Creative Labs announced their V2 card on 11/17/97. - By 12/4/97, TDFX was saying that analysts estimates for the quarter were 30% - 40% low and that V2 was so successful, it was delaying Banshee by at least 1 quarter.
