Bipan,

I use Lombard, and am very happy with them. When I decided to switch from my full service broker to Lombard, their rates were $34 per trade. After I executed my first two trades, I was excited to see that I was only charged $14.95 and $19.95 (for a market order and a limit order). They had dropped their rates between the time that I had picked them and the time I placed my first order!

Thanks for the information about the "January Effect". I especially like one thing that they say: As more investors try to exploit a market inefficiency, they make it efficient, and the opportunity disappears.

Increases in small caps typically follow increases in large caps. With the monumental increases in the large caps, now is definitely the time to be buying small caps.

I'm anxious to see what December and January will bring. November increased my portfolio over 60%. Much needed! I was in the red before November.
