Carl: Thanks for your input. VERY INFORMATIVE! I read in the Financial Post on the weekend(Nov30th), that Westmin has or is reducing there production at Myra Falls, Vancouver Island since Zinc's spot metal price is $0.47 US per lb..This is from the London Metal Exchange. The outlook for Zinc prices looks gloomy. I don't mean to scare anybody, but does not look like ATNA Resources will be bought out any time soon. The article indicated a fall in global inventories, yet the price for zinc remains weak. Is the demand as great as it used to be? Zinc is used in the production of galvinized STEEL. For the high cost producers, Zinc has to be above the $0.50/lb mark for them to remain profitable. Is Westmin a High Cost Producer? Most global zinc producers are reducing/suspending production. Hopefully Supply and Demand fundamentals will come back into equillibrium soon. This will HELP give a significant boost in ATNA's share price and may fuel the next wave of buying on the pretense of a takeover.
Thoughts Anybody???
