Well, it may be impressing that the old switch is as good. Where does it put the new switch though? Apparently nobody wants it for storage, only now they are fixing it for the LAN and my question is can they tune it for the LAN? Whatever makes it inferior on the storage side may make it inferior for the LAN. What's wrong with the switch? If the past year the resources have been spent on trying to fix it and failed(lack of OEM contracts) then they are really falling behind in technology as well(other guys have been busily working on something(?) and in big trouble.
