Stitch, how do you expect the rest of us to make any money if you keep posting such depressing news? We're not all experts at shorting stocks, like Lawrence Kam or Todd. (I've found I can lose money being long or short) Can you recommend a nice mutual fund that will make me a fortune in the next week or two? I'm getting tired of watching the stocks I sell go up, and the stocks I buy or hold go down. If I had 10 or 20 million $, maybe I wouldn't mind so much. I'm really starting to think that mutual funds are less frustrating than individual stocks. Except that I don't have a lot of faith in mutual funds, either. Regards, Larry PS: Considering the fundamental information that is available to analysts on a timely basis, and that brokerage houses and institutions have first call on that data, what value does that information have for the individual investor? Is the value mainly psychological, so the individual will feel reassured that his investing is being done on a rational basis?
