I admit that my plan is based upon the premise that people are honest.

I wasn't very articulate in saying how it might work, either.

If someone gets ahold of my recordings and they like it, I don't mind if they copy it and give it away (it's useless to try and prevent that, in my opinion). If the person turns around and copies and sells my stuff, I simply want a cut... no legal battles, no cops, no prisons.

I maintain that commercial software is vastly overpriced, and that this is MSFT's "dirty little secret."

I realize I'm not making a very good case here, but the current direction we're headed in doesn't appear to have a happy ending for most people.
