Yep,..... well at least in my case that was true. I've been mostly a lurker here forever, and today I finally took the plunge and bought in. The main reason?...... The designer hormones. I know they are quite a ways off for approval since I'm not sure if *any* of them are even in clinicals yet but the potential is just enormous. And the other reason I guess is partly your positiveness on this company finally wore me down. So keep up the good work Henry your postings do make a difference. I sold my DRMD today to buy LGND. I had been holding DRMD in anticipation of their estrogen/Premarin competing drug called Cenestin hopefully getting approval before the end of the year. But of course nothing is certain because AHP/Wyeth has been fighting them tooth and nail on the approval. I figure at *some* point way out in the future it might not matter if DRMD got approval or not. If the designer hormones such as LGND is working on wind up panning out, people are going to demand them over the older non-selective drugs. No point in suffering potentially life threatening conditions such as breast cancer by taking estrogen after menopause when a designer hormone can give you all the positives and eliminate the negatives.
Here's a coupla links I ran across today. Not really sure how much they apply to LGND. There both pertaining to hormones.
