Mike,

What? CPQ Proliant Workgroup (aka "Enterprise") servers costing,
fully-loaded, over $30,000?? How could it be? These are
PC's, for heaven's sake. They can't cost that much!!

Well, I've uncovered some internal price quotes from a company
looking into converting from Unix to NT. All the configurations
were using CPW Proliants running Pentiums with different configs.
All models came in over $20,000 per server and the higher end
model came in over $30,000 per server, NOT including software
costs.

Question to the group: Does anyone know how this compares to
the price of Enterprise 450's, fully installed & operational??
